1916:  Type 1 - Tall thin dies, squared legends      1 - 8769

1917:  Type 1 - Wire showing at slots          1 -  8913

1930-32, 1935:  6-digits have longer province name. (1933 reported)
1932-35:  Red border for National Parks access seen on 1932 #30-056,

1932-45:  4-digits have dash prefix.
1940-45:  Long dash on 2-4-character letter series.
1943:     All are restamped-date 1942 mates.

STICKER VARIATIONS
1988:  JAN - OCT has computer serial, NOV has typed serial.
1999:  JAN - JUL has wide border, AUG - DEC thin border.
1993:  Day of expiration "1" to "31" stickers issued, expire
       "JUN 1 93".  1, 30 and 31 reserved for fleet vehicles.
